Dr. Ulzen has been involved in Global Health Education since 2005 as a practitioner, administrator, and an educator. He has overseen the work of over 200 medical volunteers ranging from undergraduate students to medical specialists who have worked in the Elmina area or taught at the University Of Cape Coast School Of Medical Sciences in Ghana. He was a Yale/Johnson & Johnson Scholar in International Health in 2007.
